Ideal CCTV - Security Camera Installations

Hi can somebody help me im looking for 4 infra red cameras that work at day as well.  I would really like  to go on holiday soon for christmas and since our village has had an uproar in vandals I need protection from these anti-social terrorists.  I've heard a bit about infra red cameras and all that stuff, but do they work during the day aswell or do I need to get seperate cameras for that, can someone pls explain to me?
