Our Technical Department has been busy with a currently very common question: Is the time ripe for moving on to IP and Megapixel CCTV?
Whatever the answer will be for you at this point of time, Ideal CCTV is among the pioneers once more. We thought some of our visitors would be interested in facts and factors that firm our growing conviction to keep movin on to IP.
Please se a few test-pictures atached at the bottom of this page. One shows a service car in front of our Perth Office recorded at CIF Resolution (currently 95% of all analog and DVR systems in the UK record at that resolution - even though the Live-Pictures are a bit better. The Police will never get to see the Live-Images though!).
The largern file shows the same 90 degree view at 3.1 Megapixel.
